Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you cover?

We currently cover Crowle, Himbleton, Tibberton & their surrounding villages.

Unsure if we cover your village or area? Drop us a message!

We occasionally have availability in other areas of Worcester so why not drop us a message today!

Are you DBS Checked?

Yes both Dan and I are DBS checked to provide peace of mind when working with you and your pets.

Are there any breeds you do not work with?

We work with all breeds apart from those outlined in the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 classified as Banned Breeds. We offer a meet and greet service before we undertake any dog walk or puppy visit. This helps your dog familiarise itself with us before our first walk.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured with business public liability cover, providing peace of mind for all our clients.

Are you first aid qualified?

Yes we have completed a level three professional dog first aid course to ensure whatever happens your dog is in the best possible hands!

Do you do group walks

We offer both solo and group walks, all availability depending on your area and current spaces.

Do you work with reactive dogs?

We’re experienced in supporting reactive dogs, whether their triggers involve other dogs, animals, or people. Every new client begins with a thorough meet and greet so we can understand your dog’s behaviour and discuss any concerns. If we feel we’re not the right fit, we’ll be honest and transparent from the start - your dog’s safety and wellbeing always come first.

What about bad weather?

We are an all weather service, rain or shine we are out and about.

Severe adverse weather such as extreme temperatures and cold spells will be covered in our contingency plans and communicated to you at the earliest possibility.

How does payment work?

Payments are made using bank transfer to our Monzo business account or we are happy to take cash if preferred.

Payments for weekly services are due at the end of the working week on Friday. Ad-hoc services are due at the end of you booking. Late payment fees apply and are outlined in our dog walking agreement which is completed during your meet and greet.

What happens during a meet and greet?

We offer a free meet and greet visit before all services are commenced. This is to allow us to discuss the services you require, find out important information about your pet, and most importantly meet your pet so they are familiar with who we are.

Some of the information we need from you; your pets vetinary information, emergency contact details, microchip details, lead walking and off leash permissions,  access/key arrangements

Your meet and greet usually takes 30-60 minutes

Do you offer weekend cover?

Yes we offer weekend cover by arrangement only. Our standard ad-hoc weekend rate of £18.50 per hour* (this rate does not apply to full week bookings, which are charged as quoted.) Ad-hoc weekend bookings outside of Crowle & Himbleton may include a mileage charge.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your booking. Cancellations after this time are charged at the full booking rate for the service booked.
